  • What's Your Thoughts?

Q:No problem man, you're a busy guy. Oh for sure! I won't tell you about the nightmare I had trying to get the Columbia blue UNC limited edition xx3 "premieres". But I DID get Mark Smith to sign a pair for me when he came out to give a lecture at our school... So what are your thoughts on the 2012?

That is awesome man!

As for the 2012, I don’t know how I feel about it yet. There are a lot of elements that I like. I like the idea of floating pieces on top of a Flywire skin but I really don’t like the huge Jumpman. It really takes away from the sophisticated look they have been crafting.

I don’t like the price of them, $200+ seems ludicrous. I experienced the ankle sleeve for the Kobe VII and it just seems flimsy, cheap and not protective enough. If the Jordan is anything like that it will really disappoint me. I will say I need to hear/see the full story before I can fully critique it. Not that I need marketing to save the design for me but I do believe that you can’t judge everything without hearing the rhyme and reason. Especially coming from Tinker Hatfield and Tom Luedecke, I tend to believe they know what they are doing!
