It may not be practical but this is dope!
The Lamborghini Aventador J is a car that looks like it was pulled straight from a videogame. It is not a convertible; it is “an utterly indescribable experience of power and dynamics.” By removing the windshield, the windscreen and all things extra like a navigation system and climate control; Lamborghini has created a pure piece of performance function.
The details on the Aventador J are outstandingly beautiful. The interior fabric and color break up is dope. I love how they left the composite material of the seat frame natural as opposed to hiding it. Good design is in honest details.
My only disappointment is the fake Carbon Fiber fabric used as a detail on the seats, you are better then this; but everything else is immaculate so I will let that slide. The most exciting piece on the car for me is the cross-member; it is so raw! I love it how it looks like it is gripping tight around all 700 horsepower of the 6.5 liter V12 it is encasing.
There is not a good reason that one could come up with as to why this car has to exist, but Lamborghini said screw that we are creating an experience not just an automobile. The great feat in this car is more than its extreme look, it is that they created a product that is exciting to experience and evokes emotion.
The best part is that it’s not a concept car; it’s for sale! But only as a one off build.

My open letter to the sneaker community… I have read a lot of comments from you, the sneaker community, that seem to be a negative connotation for the Air Jordan 2012, for instance: “I don’t care if Jordan himself designed it, that is ugly. Will be discounted in a few just like most Jordan’s.” I fully believe that everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion about a product but I don’t believe that people grasp how great of a shoe this is. Do I think it is the best Jordan ever? No, but it is a damn good product.
I am a little late on this but I had to post it.
I have never been a huge fan of the Foamposite, it is just too heavy and bulky; but these are dope!
Today I was privileged to be apart of the Air Jordan 2012 media launch in New Jersey. To say that the day was surreal is an understatement. It was amazing meeting all of the other media outlets and putting a face to many people I have been following for years. On top of that the event gave an in depth look at the product and opportunity to really see and feel how it performs.
I also had the opportunity to sit down for very in depth and long conversations with both Tom Luedecke and Tinker Hatfield. Tom dropped so much knowledge and insight on me last night that I will never forget! Then to wrap up an already amazing day Tinker shouted me out in his presentation to the world of his and Tom’s Air Jordan 2012. Absolutely amazing!
