So last week my good friends at CounterKicks posted up images of the New Balance 997 Training shoe, which just happens to be one of the last major projects I helped influence. The production version of the shoe is dramatically different then I had originally envisioned but a few of the details I created made its way to the outsole.
So in the spirit of the release I decided to post a few of my initial sketches and renderings.
